Lexi-Interact

Lexi-Interact operates in its own window. The window is divided into an Entry Panel, where you will define your interaction query, and a Content Panel in which your results will be displayed.

Lexi-Interact combines the world's literature and scientific understanding of drug interactions with a state-of-the-art electronic platform, providing an efficient way to ensure that adverse drug events do not compromise patient care.

How to use Lexi-Interact:

  1. Enter the drug or natural product in the Lookup window and hit ENTER or the Lookup button. Either the product name will appear in your list or options will be listed and the user selects the product that fits best.

  2. Enter all drug names separately in the Lookup window until completed.

  3. Click on the Analyze button to perform the interaction analysis.

  4. The New List button will clear the Results Panel.

Review all interactions for a selected medication or enter a patient-specific regimen to analyze for potential interactions. Additionally, you may select a drug interaction result to obtain detailed information on Patient Management, Interacting Members, Risk Rating, References, and more. Lexi-Interact can also be an educational tool for students, residents, and faculty.
