Patient Care Module

The Patient Care button provides access to the Patient Care Module which allows you to create and print a personalized packet of handouts covering all of the topics necessary for educating a patient and improving compliance.

First, select Packet Options such as a Patient Summary Page and a Signature Page, and adjust the font size for all your documents.

Next, select each of the Condition/Procedure and Medication leaflets to include in the packet. Be sure to choose the desired language BEFORE entering the condition/procedure/medication name.

In addition, for the Medication leaflets, select the "level" - either Adult or Pediatrics.

Each of the selected documents will be listed in the Current Contents. After you are finished creating the packet, click on Preview and the packet will be displayed in the Content Panel on the right.

Customize the header with an institution name, add the Patient Name, and add notes for each of the leaflets.

The Notes can be copied onto the Patient Summary page where the patient and provider sign to document the education experience.

Once the packet is customized and ready for printing, there are two (2) places to activate the print function:

  1. In the top right corner of page 1 of the packet
  2. Under the Current Contents list in the lower left
